Hello A feind of mine has a 3 year old female boxer and here the past few days the dogs has been breaking out with half dollar size lumps all over her body but the lumps only last 30 mins to an hour then they go away. In a days time this will happen 2 maybe 3 times a day. If you look real close at the lumps her skin under her hair where the lumps are is real red. The dog does not act like it bothers her at all when you touch them. Her eating is not slowing down and she just goes on like its not evan happening. She has been fixed if you think that might have anything to do with it and my freind has not changed shampoo her food or anything since she was a small pup. Can anyone please tell me what could be causing this. Thank you IP: Logged |

She needs to be seen by a vet, but maybe something on this site will prove helpful. Scroll down to where it says Hives and see if that sounds like the issue at hand. http://www.boxerrescuelist.com/InfoPage.html IP: Logged |

I would say its probably food related. Did she start a new food. If so did she see if the hives appeared when the new food was introduced. Or if she always had them in her care ,it would be the food being given to her from the get go. Thats my 2 cents. ------------------ IP: Logged |
