I want to order this harness to start Witt off in his training, it's inexpensive and has fleece to keep him comfortable...the problem is the site doesn't explain sizing. I have the catalog too (which is great! they have SO much and GOOD prices!)it only categorized them by weight...and that does not corilate(sp?) to the web site even though it is the same product. I am assuming that the size 32" means thats as large as it will open up to and that it is referring to the girth measurement...is that right? I measured Witt around the widest(deepest part of his chest) just behind his armpits and he was 30" I didn't hold it tight either, just barely taught. Should I order the smallest size they offer...the 32"? Here is the link:http://www.carealotpets.com/eaccess.asp?varPage=listItemsAcross&Cat=DOG&CatDesc=Dog%20Items&SubCat=DHARN&SubCatDesc=Harnesses&T1=DHPUL&SubSubCat=DHPUL&SubSubCatDesc=Pulling%20 Harness%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20&Summary=&ListType=&ImgFlg=TRUE&Search=Link&CatImage=dog_category_header.gif&From= IP: Logged |

I'm not sure about the sizing for that type, but I'm guessing that you're right about the measurement being for the girth. You might try calling them or sending an email to see if they can clear things up for you, but if not, then I'd go with the small one (32"). If it's not right, most places will allow you to get another size, as long as the first wasn't custom and doesn't appear worn. Hope that helped at least a little IP: Logged |
