The one below is getting long, but has lots of great info. I wanted to find out: 1. Are the compressed rawhide bones safe for dogs? 2. Are the Bully sticks OK as well. My lab loves both so was wondering how these are. We don't give him rawhide at all, but was wondering if the compressed rawhide is safe. Thanks, Rae IP: Logged |

I was told before that the compressed rawhide is fine. Since the pieces are small enough that they cant choke on it or get it caught in its system. As far as the bully sticks go I dont know about them so cant help ya out with that one IP: Logged |

My dogs arnt interested in compressed rawhide. They will hold them in their mouths and run around but then grow tired of them. I am making an appt for Mayday tomorrow ever since I gave them those bones the other night he has been coughing and gagging acting like he needs to vomit. After all those posts I am very paranoid.
