HELP ME!!! I had my puppy spayed a week ago and now she thinks she needs to pee ALL the time. We have talked to the Vet(A LOT)and treated her for bladder infection but it has not worked. I am worried that her bladder might have been nicked during surgery and they are not telling me. Is this possible. My puppy was fine when I brought her to them and now I am going crazy trying to keep up w/ her. I try to let her out when she sitting by the door, even though I know she doens't need to go. Sometimes when in the house she will drop maybe an eye dropper full but never very much. What is going on?? She acts fine, eats, drinks and stools like normal just thinks she needs to pee all the time. HELP!!! PLEASE!!! IP: Logged |

I'm having the same problem, but not quite as bad. I had my shihpoo Sophie spayed last week and we'd gotten into the habit of leaving her free in the apartment when I'm at work because she hadn't had an accident for months. Yesterday, when I came home to walk her at lunchtime, I found she'd peed on the carpet. I cleaned up the mess with my puppy cleaner, but the apartment still smells like urine, leading me to believe she'd messed elsewhere also! In the meantime, I've started crating her during the day again, but I'd like to find another solution. IP: Logged |

I went through this with SHUG but it stopped after about a month. Even with people this happens after this kind of surgery, so I kinda expected it...but it was NOT FUN while it was going on. I do not know what to tell you, hopefully, it will stop soon. After a month, I'd get worrried. IP: Logged |
