What is it that makes a dog's digestion different from a human's, so that they need to make food changes gradually? I mean, I can eat all steak one day, all chicken the next, all veggies the next day, and nothing but ice cream on the next, etc. Why does a dog have to have the same food every day or their tummies get messed up? Is it because we feed them the exact same thing every day, so they become specialized and then a change causes upset? So if we fed them a variety every day, they would be more like a human? Or is there something inherently different in their digestive systems?
