hi, i've heard that it's not advisable to use floor cleaners to clean over the mess my pup's made coz of the ammonia. so what should we use?? IP: Logged |

you could use a vinagar solution to eliminate a urine smell. I would get a spray bottle and mix it 1/2 water 1/2 white vinagar with a little laundry or dish soap (preferrably clear and only about a tablespoon or two) This should help and is safe on all types of floors. IP: Logged |

There is a product called Natures Miracle and others that are also the same kind of cleaner available at Pet Stores. It neutralizes the urine and gets rid of it rather than just cover up the smell. I love this product, it's good for all sorts of accidents. The same company puts out "Skunk Off" and it works well too. IP: Logged |
