It's the cat that would be her friend if she would just tone it down. This cat doesn't run away as much and so she ends up getting her tail and ears bitten. (She's sort of....mentally challenged.) But when Nala wasn't feeling well, they actually were lying a foot apart and just looking at each other. I praised Nala profusely and gave her many special treats. I think that might have opened a door.

She actually was gentle with her this afternoon. I am so amazed! I am not naive enough to think it will last, but it's a start!
