I am on my second daft & funny Old English Sheepdog now and have always trimmed them myself – a product of growing up in the Welsh countryside where there are definitely NO Poodle parlours

However I so struggled doing him with my Wahl Animal clippers this summer – it was cutting so badly, clogging (even on the coarse blade) and got so hot that it eventually ended up hitting the wall!

Does anyone have any recommendation for a really good product – maybe even a cordless one?

Thanks & thanks from my wall too!

Well hello there. My family lives in London too. I use an Oster on my poodle, it was given to me by my MIL. But from going to the poodle forums, I have learned that one of the best clippers to be had is made by Moser. Then there are the kind that you can buy with the attached vacumms on it so there is no clean up. Are there really not many poodle in London?
