Abby and her Daddy

Daisy my bathtub rotty this is a frequent occurance at our house if the door is open she is in the tub

Abby poking her head through the opening in the desk and yes this is another frequent occurence when Im spending too much time on the comp and not enough with her she lets me know it

Oreo was a pound baby so honestly we arent sure what she is. When my fiance got her they told him she was a lab-shephard mix. Rob thought she was just a small shephard till she was around 10 when I came into the picture. I told him from the door there was no way she was a 45 pound lab-shephard. I didnt see any shephard in her. By how her hair, snout and other features are the only thing I know is she is some sort of collie family mixed with a lab.

As far as posting pics I will bump up a post written by someone else. I would post it but this person did a good job at it so I wont have to.LOL. Anyways thanks they really are a bunch of goof balls.

ohmygosh, I LOVE these pics! I gotta get out the digital camera tonight!
Tell me, what are you feeding the rotties? And do you feed them a little 2x/day, as I've read is recommended?

RottyMommy,

They are all so beautiful!!!

Uh-hm... since we're at that, you just have to tell me the secret... what did you do to make Daisy like the bath tub??!! Mine won't even come close to it, if they could, they would make sure that door to the bathroom stays loked forever!!!

Daisy was a rescue I got her back in April. At first the bathtub was a place to hide from Abby and Oreo then once she became more comfortable it became just a cool place to sleep. Its definitely interesting when you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and all of a sudden a rotty head peeks out from behind the curtain!

Rottymommy---
That is soo cute.. I cannot imagine going to someone's house and using their bathroom only to see that I am being watched..lol. My two are nut cases.. Jekkyl will stick his head in the bathtub but Saige thinks it is a place to play. She like the tub when there is a little water left in the bottom to lay in.. We have to make sure the door is closed good if one of us take a bath after an exhausting day.. i learned the hard way that if you don't.. here comes Saige.. she looks like mighty dog just jumping in there all four legs spread.. Almost like a kid swimming, Have to teach her to say "BELLY FLOP!!!" only it would be more like.. "Rorry Rop!" with her voice..lol. your dogs are gorgeous though.. I know what you are saying about shelters.. I got my last dog there. She was suppose to be a shepherd mix, however she was obvious to figure that she had dobie in her by the thin lankiness and the markings on the legs shoulders and face, eyebrows, you know.. pretty much same markings as a rottie. She had a dobie face.. thin and narrow head... no doubt what she was. I am glad to see people are getting shelter dogs, best place to get them, they need homes more than anything else. Well, give the Three Musketeers a big pat on the head and a scratch behind the ear with one of those "Good baby" comments that they love so much.. lol.

Angie, Jekkyl and Saige..
(We got a bath today.. and mommy thinks that we are someone else's dogs because she never saw us so clean! but we swear, we do not get dirty digging holes!!"

I have to jump on the bandwagon and post pictures of my little one as well. She is about 4 months old now (we think). We have had her for 2.5 weeks. She is a shelter dog as well. They were calling her a collie mix. My best guess is border collie, beagle, maybe terrier and/or lab?

To 9Jan8. I feed my dogs Solid Gold twice a day. Abby my 2 year old eats abou6-7 cups a day. I have trouble keeping weight on her since she is always on the go wanting to play 24/7. Daisy my 3 year old eats about 4 cups. She is the lazy one of the family. She has lost 15 pounds since we had her and is now at a weight where she is pretty much healthy. Still overweight but atleast now she isnt panting from just walking through the house like she did when we first got her.

Jamiya- your pup looks so much like my Australian Shepherd black tri. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will post some. You would think they could be litter mates! Very cute puppy!! Rottymommy- I LOVE those dogs faces, they are adorable.

I'll add Australian Shepherd back into the mix. I originally wondered, but I have seen tri-border collies and they are smaller than shepherds and I don't think Nala is going to get terribly big. I wish she had longer fur (and was bigger), but she is a cutie!

Now if she would just quit trouncing on the cats.

Post pictures by first uploading them somewhere - your personal web space or a photo album site. Then paste in the URL in between img tags: [ img] URL [ /img]. Do NOT put the spaces in [ img] and [ /img] - I just have to put them in so the board doesn't think they denote an image.

Or you can mail them to me if you can't figure it out - I would love to see your doggie! (jamia_w@hotmail.com)

What I would say to the first picture, OK ok you can have all the food you want. Go ahead and take it. The one with girls both sticking their tongues out looks like oreo should be worried. That last one with them looking over the fence looks like they are waiting to throw water ballons or something.

Jamyiaa- Your dog looks ausie or border collie. I have seen auseis that color. Also tri-colored border collies.

Yes they definitely keep me busy and except for daisy having a paper towel shredding fettish they arent trouble makers. But they definitely are characters especially the rotties. Never a dull moment and alsways something to laugh at.

oreo look NOTHING like a border collie.

but jamiya, you dog look like a pure border collie. (I see hundreds of border collies several times a month, so I can tell if a dog has border collie in it. pluse I own 2, and live near several)

this is happy my pur bred border collie when she was a pup

honestly there is no aussie in that dog, aussies are bulkier, and I have seen several aussie pups, they dont look anything like that.. no doubt in my mind that that is border collie.

I love the pics of your girls. I read the post aout how much you feed them a day and I was surprised because my ZEUS, a 5 month old pure bred rottie is eating about 7 cups a day. Then again he also looks like he takes up about as much room in the tub as your one girl. He's a big boy, but very healthy, and no where near being over weight. I'd post a pic but i can't get him to sit still long enough.
