I have a five year old Sheltie and a four year old Mini Schnauzer that has never been in heat. Does anyone have an idea of what to do to bring them in?

Are you sure they have never been in heat? Why do you want to bring them into heat...are you planning on breeding them?

there isnt anyway you can induce the heat cycle it will happen when it happens...

thre is a couple of possabilites why they havent been in heat yet....

they might have been but the discharge from the vulva was so little it was un-noticable as some bitches are constantly cleaning so you would notice...

or there is the dogs could have been spayed thats another reason they may not have been in heat.

a visit to the vet will let you know either way...

i am wondering like the other post why would you want to induce the cycle are you planning on breeding???

are the dogs pedigree????

do you have the money aswell as the time if something was to go wrong after the birth and you needed to hand rear or take to the vets???

these are just a few things that you should be thinking about if you are goin to breed your dogs breeding shouldnt be taken lightly

Silly question, but I will say it. Has she been spayed and you did not know it?
