Hi- Iam new to this site. I have a 10 month old male pekingese (who is fixed)We are having two major problems with him 1.potty training, I will take him outside and he will do his business then a few minutes after we are in the house he will go "#2" Again! 2. When we are outside if he sees another dog or hears one he goes Nuts- barking uncontrolably-and shaking,it almost looks as though hes having a seziure. Im afraid if this keeps up a big dog will end up attacking us. Please help..

1) Keep your eye on him at all times when he has free access to the house - this way you can catch him before he goes #2 (in doing so you may notice signals that he is about to go such circling, sniffing..swatting) and you can prevent any accidents.
2) Has this dog been socialized? If not, start doing so now..better late than never. Otherwise this uncontrolable problem you are currently having may progress into something much worse. Many dog trainers around her offer socialization groups...call around and see if any are offered in your area. Take him around other dogs (even if its just at a safe distance), get him used to unfamilar noises and people. Use treats to grab his attention and reward him for being calm in various situations. For now when he is barking and shaking uncontrolable...make sure you have a really yummy treat on hand and stick it in front of his face if you have must to get his attention...tell him "quiet" and give him the treat.
Best of luck to you.

My dog will get distracted and not poop then when we come inside she will go. I know her behavior, so I know when she has to poop. If she acts like she has to go when we go outside and doesn't go I will put her in her kennel when we come back in. I take her out again a few minutes later, if she goes she can be loose, if not she goes back in the kennel. Usually she goes after being in her kennel once.
