if I need anything special to cross the border into Canada with my dogs? We have our first flyball tournament next weekend in Mt. Vernon WA, and I want to venture into Canada for fun.

Maisey,

I did a little research for you :')
I found out, you will need 1) Rabbies Certficate stating your dog has received a Rabbies vaccine within the past (3) year 2) You must be able to show proof that your dog doesn't have any illness that he can pass on to another animal or human. 3) A Health Certificate from your Vet dated 7-10 days prior to your actual date of travel. I don't know if you'll need a new Health Certificate when you return to the United States.

A few tips, that have been of much help when I moved from California to Nebraska.

ID tag with my former home address and phone number as well as the address and phone number for my new home. My former Vet's phone number, 2 extra days of medication, food, and bottled water, and a close up and far away photo of my pets.

Best of luck with the Tourney and I hope you enjoy your visit!!

Thank you! Now that I know what I need for the dogs, I can't find my own birth certificate! It will kill me to be that close to Canada and not even be able to peek in.
