What will these people come up with next?

Add Warmth to Your Pet’s Igloo Style Doghouse

Pet Bed Company develops indestructible heating pad to fit all sizes of Dogloo doghouses.
If you’re one of the thousands of dog owners whose pet lives in an igloo style doghouse, give your dog a K&H heating pad to keep it warm. Available in three sizes, the K&H pad will fit any size Dogloo™ or Indigo™ doghouse.

The pad’s half-round shape covers half the floor surface allowing the dog to naturally choose when it wants warmth. An internal thermostat will maintain a cosy 102º surface temperature when in use. K&H heated pads are waterproof, easy to clean and are UL and CUL Listed and recommended for year round indoor or outdoor use. They come with a 5 1/2 foot steel-wrapped, abrasion-resistant cord and a limited one-year warranty.

The warmth provided by the K&H pad is not only for comfort, but it is recommended by veterinarians for active dogs to soothe muscles and for older, arthritic dogs to improve circulation.

K&H is the largest manufacturer of heated pet products. Call 719 591-6950 or visit www.khmfg.com for a retail outlet or Internet seller.

There are people that will buy these things. Mine are indoor dogs, but if for any reason I had to keep them outdoors, I may be next in line for one.

Yes I suppose if you had to keep your dogs outside they would be ideal in the colder months but no stone is ever left unturned with these people is it. Fairplay to them I say!

My dogs stay outside for the most part. We built a wooden dog house that fits for 3 (looks like a miniture house/with fiber glass windows & a removable roof). We only have 2 dogs though. Cheaper($$$) and a lot more customised. It's awesome! If i were a little kid, i'd probably make it my little club house or something... Although, i think those little Igloo dog house are pretty cool. The heater pad thing sounds cool too, but thats why i originally responded to this message. Like i said, my dogs stay outside for the most part, and they manage to stay happy and warm in the colder months w/ two queen sized bed comforters/blankets. Underneith the blankets we threw in some unused carpet. I'd prefer it when they sleep inside w/ us Humanoids, but this only happens for about 2-5 days when they've just had a bath! That Igloo thing is probably pricey too, thats why i did'nt try to buy one....

Maybe someone out there knows of a good "dog-trailer" for attaching to bycycles. I am looking for one that would be simialar to a baby trailer, yet would have a flat platform so the dog can lay down. I have found a few on the internet but they are made in China and not available in the US yet (not until October).
Any suggestions? I do not want a "box" type of trailer- one that has nylon sides and top with a zipper close so my dog can see out all sides while she is riding with me.
thanks-
