My family will be picking up our new addition to the family next weekend. We just need a name for her, a female boxer. Our kids are 5 and 2, so it needs to be something fairly simple. Any suggestions?

I always name based on character, so making a suggestion is hard. I'll put a few that I like down.

Piper
Emma
Lucy
Ivy
they are all two syllables, easy to say for your children and they don't resemble a command you may be teaching her.
My horse trainer has a boxer named "Dare", this name totally fits the little female, she is always looking for an adventure and getting into trouble, I loved the name the minute I heard it and after getting to know the pup I thought it was perfect.

Since she's a boxer, how about 'Ali' or 'Dempsey'?

Thank you for your ideas. They were very helpful! With them, we talk to our kids, and our daughter came up with Lilly. Our son can say it too!

You could name the boxer Merlin after my boxer! You never know it may carry the good times I've shared with my Merlin!

I suppose I'm too late to get in on the puppy naming, but my boxer, whom I named Gracie should have been named Daisy! I considered that name then changed to Gracie, which I do love too. But she is definitely a "Daisy" at heart. No matter the name, she'll be loved to pieces by her family!
