I found a strange looking red lump on my dogs front left leg. It's squishy and not very big.It doesn't seem to bother him much but I'm still concerned.Does anyone know what this is?

I know they have those red ants over in texas. It could be a bite from an ant or even a spider. If it changes and gets worse call your vet. Is it oozing. If so put warm towels on it to draw stuff out. Try to do this twice daily. But really if it looks bad take her to her vet.

That may be the case. Did you put the warm towles on it. Does it seem itchy? If it seems to be getting better then don't worry. If worse take him on in. There is a product called Sulfedine for dogs that has been on the market for years. It is like peroxide to us humans. I have actually used both. It really helps to heal up sores. Peroxide will lighten the hair though if he is in the light, but no biggy it grows out or falls out and is replaced.. Found that out the hard way. but for my dog it was not noticable because he is tricolor already. black brown and white. Let me know how he is.
