I have heard you guys talk about and My Little "SHUG" loves it. Oh my, how she is FLOURISHING on INNOVA by NUTRA.

Her coat is beginning to get shinny even though I use a serious de-tangler. She has more energy and is always excited to get to her "SUPPER".

I am feeding her the puppy food at 9 months...it seems to be working really well.

Thanks so much for sharing this info on this site. I think I'm going to have a MUCH HEALTHIER PET !

Yahoo, I'm glad someone was listening, now your lil sugg gets all the benifits. Was it hard to find it in your area?
Oh, remember it is high in goodness so feed less than your other food. probably by about 1/3 to 1/2 less per meal less. They can gain weight on it. If she is hungry give her veggies. It all depends on how active a dog is really less active less food more active a little more. You will be able to see whats needed after awhile.

Another beleiver in innova, I switched my lab to it about 4 months ago, much more energetic, coat looks good and teeth.

Puttin510, my lab has always had a weight problem, I got on Innova web site and it was great - it gave how much you should feed by the amount of activity and weight which is great. Eveywhere else they just give you the amount based on what to lose and dont take into account the activity level, Jake was 103 5 months ago and I feed him 3 cups a day (which seems lake a lot since it is small kibble) I weighed him last week and he was 98! yea! I havent been able to get him to drop any weight before.

Nessa1880, our feedstores carry innova, here is their website, if you go to stores and put in your zig or city, it shows who carrys it. As for Nutro, I dont know much about it, but from the posts on this site, it sounds like the best commercial dog food you can buy (like form petco etc)

I think Honeybear forgot to add the website for Innova so Im adding it for her. This will direct you right to the store locator: http://naturapet.com/display.php?d=stores-tab

If you can't find Innova in your area...Nutro is a decent alternative IMO.

Nessa there are other brands just as good as Innova but I think Nutro is not as good. Did you check out the comparison chart on www.naturapet.com If you click on your type of food you can find out if the ingrediants are worthy. I don't like the idea of giving anything that has any type of bi-products in it. I don't want to tell you what to do either. But check it out. If you can't find Innova, look for another brand, wellness is good. I checked out dr.fostersand smith and theirs seems to be good. also canidea. But there is many more.
I took a look and it says they use liver but from which animal it does not say, Liver is considered to be a sift to drain out all the bad things in a body. So it shoul not be in their diet often. Also salt. They don't need the additional salt. The other things are passable.
