my dog has really bad breath. we have tried brushing his teeth with doggy toothpaste, giving him dog brand breath mints, and using chew toys. the chew toys help to clean his teeth, but the bad breath stays. We don't give him scraps from the table, and he doesn't hunt in the yard. We don't want to take him to the vet to get his teeth cleaned because he is a small dog and they put them to sleep to clean their teeth, that is why we a afraid to do that. please help IP: Logged |

Sometimes food will get stuck inbetween the teeth. Maybe use one of those short flossing picks. I have some dental picks that I can reach around the reach with. Good luck IP: Logged |
