i need help with my dog, he is a beautiful minature english sheepdog that we found in my grandparents feild. We have him potty trained, but when other dogs come over, it is almost like he forgets he is potty trained and he marks EVERYTHING! he has even got my 8 year old miniature schnauzer doing it too! And leaving them outside isnt an option, they BOTH have really bad allergies, even though we give them medication. so how do i get the point across to them that it is wrong? i don't want to spank them

I hate to say it but it is a male tendancy to do that when other dogs mark something they feel it is their duty to remark it as their territory. All you can do is catch him in the act and tell him no, that he's not to do that. Mine did the same thing. He never ever did it until my sisters male came over. Just keep telling him. It will soak in sooner or later.
