Today we were vacuuming out the car and I had one of my dogs with me. So i turn on the vacuum and my dogs starts barking and tryign to bit it. I guess I won't be bringing her to vacuum out hte car again

Winnie HATES the vaccuum. She barks at like she is this tough huge dog, then runs away when i get closer to her. i always stick her in another room...

Thats funny, my terrie just moves out of the way and my poodle will sit in one spot chewing away on a raw hide until someone tells her to move. BUT, she is scared to death of loud vehicles of all types. Go figure.

I'm sorry, I had to laugh when I read your post!!

My Sheltie loves to try to "herd" the vacuum cleaner It's as if she is saying " Come here, you bad sheep!!"

I don't know if your dog is from the Herding Group or not? I know other owenrs who have a Sheltie, Collie, Aussie, or Border Collie who explain their dog loves to "herd" the vacuum cleaner too.

As long as your dog doesn't hurt him/herself, I wouldn't worry about it.

My dog who is a mix with a herding in her her attacks the vacuum, she barks and will actually bite it. so strange!
