I have a 1-year-old black lab/hound mix. She's the sweetest thing. The problem is, ever since she went to puppy obedience class, she will bark at other people and dogs. She will bark ferociously like she'll attack any new people she meets now. And we can't even think about taking her for walks anymore because if there's another dog around she'll try to pull our arm out. My mom suggested maybe trying those new collars that zaps them if they bark. I just want my lovable pup back who loved everyone she met. Any suggestions?

Could something have happened at obedience class that might have caused this behavior?
How old was she when she went to obedience classes? And did you continue to socialize her afterwards?

The book: The Cautious Canine by Patricia B. McConnell has been HIGHLY recommended for problems such as you describe. Check out the reviews on Amazon.
