Boycott these Procter & Gamble products until P&G stops using animal tests and use these cruelty-free alternatives http://pandgkills.com/boycott/cruelty_free.html. When shopping, you can also examine products to make sure they don't have Procter & Gamble branding on them before you purchase them. Also look at Procter & Gamble's official site http://www.pg.com/main.jhtml for a total listing of their brands and products. At the grocery store, look for the name Procter & Gamble on products. If you see P&G, leave it on the shelf. Refer to the product list for other products; some may not say P&G on the label. Write or call P&G CEO A.G. Lafley. Tell him that you have joined IDA's boycott of P&G and will continue to boycott P&G products until they stop all animal testing of consumer and household goods. Call the P&G toll-free consumer number often! A.G. Lafley Dear Mr. Lafley: I am writing to you because, as the CEO of Procter & Gamble, you are in a unique position to stop P&G's policy of testing its products on animals. P&G continues to test cosmetic and household products on animals even though it is not required by any regulatory agencies and when cheaper, humane and more reliable alternatives do exist. More than 600 companies, many of which are your competitors, either have stopped testing their products on animals or never used animals in the first place. Please use your power to stop all animal testing for household and consumer goods. I will boycott all your products until P&G joins the age of technology and truly becomes an innovative company. Sincerely, [Your name] Encourage students to ask their school cafeterias to no longer sell Procter & Gamble's Pringles or Sunny Delight or any other P&G products. You might want to create a petition to the school and have your fellow students sign on asking them not to sell Procter & Gamble products. Don't buy from ANY company that tests animals Use our free cruelty-free list to find out which companies do not test on animals, and buy only products from companies on that list. Encourage your friends and family members to boycott with you. Call and write companies that currently test products on animals. Let them know you will not use your money to contribute to animal suffering and that you know these tests are not required by any regulatory agencies. Most companies have 800 numbers that you can call at no cost to you! Write to your congressional representatives and ask them to support any legislation that would discourage companies from using animals for safety tests or that calls for alternatives to animal testing.
