my puppy has been pulling his fur out lots of it when he cleans himself.he's healthy and don't have any skin probs.so i can't figure out why he's doing it.do any other dogs do this?

I had a collie mix who did that. We just kept it trimmed real short for her and she stopped doing that.

could be some type of contact or dietary allergy. Is there certain areas where this is occuring or is it all over?

just his paws i switched his shampoo i was thinking that could be it but he's only pulling the hair out of his paws
