Since AusPet has a classified section, wouldn't it be a better idea to have "for sale" type ads posted there? Most all of the message boards I visit that have to do with dogs or horses, do not allow advertising in their forums. It would be my preference to see ads not allowed in the forums here. Does anyone else share that opinion?

I agree with that and if auspetitian agrees we will make that a new rule for automatic deletion if that sounds good to auspetian. Let us know!

Just throwing in my two bits - I agree, there shouldn't be any posting for people trying to sell here. We're here to try to help each other with our beloved pets that we have and want to keep!

Let's see if we can get a rule passed to have those deleted and blocked. Thanks!

Thats a good idea...but... Maybe (if not already) in the forum description you should put no ads allowed. I would hate for someone to come and put one up and it get deleted and not know what went wrong. I'm not saying I agree with posting ads, its just that maybe they also would like to stay and chat about pets....Hmm this may be hard to understand, but u guys kno what i mean? lol

Iluvmypets just to let you know which I posted for everyone to know it does say when you post a new message that advertising is not allowed and if that is what you want to do to post it in the classified section. Just wanted to give you the heads up. I didnt really notice it before a few days ago. But it is already there.
