We just got a puppy and it only has 7 teeth. I am not sure if it was old enough to leave it's mommy, can anyone tell about how many teeth a puppy has at 6 to 8 weeks old? Thank you, IP: Logged |

I know puppies lose their teeth but I am not sure at what age that happens. I am sure someone will come along to help you. If your pup is only 6 weeks old, it is very early to be taken from the mother. Pushing 8 weeks would be better. Do you know if your pup was weaned? IP: Logged |

take your puppy to the vet they can tell you how old your puppy is .my pup was 8 weeks old when i got him and he had alot of teeth so your pup could be younger than 8 weeks.my puppy didn't start loosing his teeth untill he was about 4 months. Puppy teeth usually appear around 3-4 weeks and most pups have around 28 baby teeth (this can vary) and no molars. IP: Logged |
