And thats for any poo right. I think its best. Its not fair to put any blame or be angry with someone who is just looking for a little piece of happiness in a furball. Animals are here on earth to make us happy. Thats what I think at least. Right now and whenever I am on the computer my poodle is here on my lap. She was just showing her love by lovingly licking my arm out of the blue. IP: Logged |

I hope you guys don't get bashed. But Auspet made a forum for Pit Bull owners, and it didn't stop the bashing. Good luck with the forum in any case. IP: Logged |

I have to agree with the last post. As I forwarned in an earlier post. The pitbull owners didnt stop getting bashed with their own forum. I just wanted to give you guys the heads up. Things might be better but dont expect people to stop voicing their feelings. It sucks but it didnt change with the pit bull forum so I dont think it will change on yours. But good luck and have fun IP: Logged |

I must say that of all the dog forums I go to, this one is the most stressful. I just want to enjoy my dogs and help others that need advise. All dogs need love, point blank. Is anyone going to start sharing pictures of their beautiful little or big dogs. I will email mine to whomever wnats to see mine. IP: Logged |

what is up with some of the people on this board??? its like they are the self-appointed spokespeople against the puppymills, petshops, getting a puppy instead of adopting. don't get me wrong, i've adopted from shelters all my life, have never bought from a petstore, am against puppy mills but its like they don't HEAR you. to get put down because you've purchased a puppy instead of adopting and then wanting to talk to other people with the same kind or similar kind of dog...well its just wrong to have to put up with their repetitive harassing. but anyway. i'm looking forward to having a forum for small dogs...i think its needed. i really don't want just poo crosses, i'd like to see it for all small dogs because i enjoy hearing about different, shall i say it? BREEDS!! lol. i've never even peeked at the pitbull board because it doesn't interest me, hopefully they will respect us (i know, doubtful, but you never know) and leave us alone. i have pictures of harley, would love to share and see others pictures too but am uncertain how to do it without taking a chance of opening up something with an attachment from an email address i don't know, you probably all feel the same. also hesitant to post my email address here, i already get nasty spam & am trying to be careful about all that. i've entered Harleys picture for the "dog of the year" contest but haven't heard back from the administrator...maybe the pictures up now are to be up the entire year and then a new batch in 2004? I'd be interested in moderating, I currently moderate a couple of other forums. Jas IP: Logged |

jas, aren't you one of the people that were involved in the pet shop/shih poo issue?why would you want to be admin. of a forum you don't agree with?i'm just a little confused about that. IP: Logged |

oops I was thinking in terms of a general moderator...... and the forum is called Dogs-Toy dogs.... not "pet store dogs" Regardless, i for one have nothing against people owning mixed breeds - every pet is a companion & should be loved and is deserving of love & proper care. Most common dog issues of diet, training and general care etc are NOT breed or breeds specific & have nothing to do with "my" personal beliefs on one particular issue - the issue I don't agree with is indiscriminate breeding practices of any dog regardless of purebred or mixed breeding. This doesn't mean I am "against" mixed breeds. I believe my personal beliefs are separate & do not effect my ability to moderate and make sure a forum runs smoothly, and I understand everyone has a right to their opinion. I am sure the moderators for all these forums do not agree with everything everyone posts, yet this doesn't impair their ability to moderate. I have and love a toy breed as well as med breed dogs. Re: Moderators Moderators control individual forums. They can edit, delete, or prune any posts in their forums. This helps keep bashers at bay as well as ensure postings are being made into the appropriate forum.. We will be electing two candidates which we feel are appropriate for the poo forum. If you still want to volunteer then please leave a message here and we will advise our final decision shortly as well as set the appropriate permission for your account. Cheers IP: Logged |

as an owner of a "mixed breed" malti-poo i would be willing to help moderate that board. i feel it should be moderated by people that own them and love them to better relate to the others that own & love them too. IP: Logged |

I would love to help. I check on auspet about 3 times every day. I have a maltese, and my mother has a yorkie. Along with my aunt who has a toy poodle and matlese. And also my other aunt has a toy poodle. I have been around toy breeds for quite some time. If I can help in any way please let me know. IP: Logged |
