I have a 9 week cockapoo male. He is an ankle biter (literally). He loves to bite at me (or anyone else). Feet and ankles are his favorite. I have told him NO and given him other things to chew and bite on. He always comes back to the feet and ankles. My kids wont play with him because of this. Can someone give me ideas as to what i am doing wrong? Will this go away when he gets older? Please HELP!!! Thanks IP: Logged |

my shih poo did the same thing at that age just continue to tell him no and give him something to chew on every time he bites you . but stick with it or he'll get confused.he'll get the idea that he shouldn't bite.and if he continues to come after the feet after giving him something to chew on you might want to put him somewhere where he can't get to your feet untill he calmes down a bit IP: Logged |

Hand your puppy and chew toy or bone when he bites at you. Tell him "no" first and then hand him the toy. He will eventually get the program...Be patient. IP: Logged |

Puppies go through the teething stage just like human babys. My vet told me to get some of that teething salve for human babys and use it on the gums of my German Shepard. The biting stopped and he was a joy to be around after that. IP: Logged |

Hey, "Ilovemipets" why did you take my name? Its going to be very confusing to tell us apart now. Would you maybe consider changing? IP: Logged |
