I am looking for birthday party ideas for dogs. I am interested in throwing a party for my four year old Basset & his friends. He is a rescue case turned show dog, so we were looking for a special way to celebrate his 1st birthday with us. Thank you so much!

make a dog cake! i made one for my dog for her 1st. just make a mould in the shape of a bone out of cardboard and line it with glad wrap, soak some dry biscuits in hot water until soft and then put in a blender, add lots of shredded chicken and mush it into the mould. put it in the fridge to set and tada! dog cake! [ dont forget to put candles on it ;P ]

look up dog resipies online and eventually you will find some sort of cake or soup. invite some doggy friends over, let them hang out in the back yard, give him a special grooming, or just give him a b-day treat. Anything that is attention is great for dogs, so a little extra attention is all he really needs ^^;

Get him a present and wrap it up! Take lots of pictures, and make a B-day scrap-book of your doggy friend! =)
