I am gonna be bringing home a pup from a shelter next week...and i was just at a PetSmart getting supplies when i came across Puppy Litter....They have different sized boxes and everything....THe bag says it is some sort of recycled paper and stuf....i was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this...or used it and if it really works! thanks IP: Logged |

I've never heard of it, but it sort of sounds like a waste of money. I mean, we've always used newspaper to train puppies, and most newspaper is recycled too, so you'd probably do just as well to use that and save some money. IP: Logged |

I agree. We've always used newspaper too, spread out, and our pups soon got the hang of it. OK to wee on the paper inside, but nowhere else. (Except outside of course). IP: Logged |

Puppy litter is used for people that litter train their dogs. Usually toy breeds or small breeds can be trained to use the litter box like cats that is what the dog litter is for. IP: Logged |

yes the puppy litter is just like cat litter,...toy breed and small breed owners that live in apartments usually try to train thier dogs to go in the litter like a cat,...i think the training is similar to newspaper or potty pad training,.if you catch them in the act just pick them up and take them over to where they are suppose to go IP: Logged |
