I have a Lab that sheds constantly. I have been told about daily bushing and have even seen some expensive suppliments. Does anyone have a home remedy, a specific dog food, or any magic speels that releives shedding.

Mrs.Allens Shed Stop is supposed to stop non-seasonal shedding...though I have never tried it. Additional essential fatty acids are often used to reduce shedding...so you could either try a food (Innova is one brand that seemed to keep my dogs shedding to a minimal) with more fat in it or try adding a fatty acid supplement such as Mrs. Allen's Shed Stop or Dream Coat by Halo. Good luck.

ALL dogs shed. If it has hair it sheds. Certain times of the year shedding worse than others, probably what you are experiencing right now.

Be careful what you find over the 'net I don't think i'd trust any 'miracle' product.

EFA's help to maintain health skin and coat. Your dog might be in need of more Vit A, D, & E. IF you do choose to supplement please thoroughly reseach it first.

What are you feeding your dog? An overall better diet might be all your dog needs.
