Just wanted to see if there was anyone who has ever seen a maltese/cocker-spaniel mix. I can't find but about 2 pictures on the internet of this breed of dog and I don't know if I am interested in buying one or not.

It is incorrect to call a maltese/cocker mix a "breed", as they aren't one. They are a mutt, a mixed breed, a crossbreed, whatever you want to call them, but NOT a "breed", and will not be uniform in temperment or physical appearance, so there's no point in looking for other such mixes. If they have the parents, that's a much better indicator as to what the dog will be like.

I didn't ask the question to be correct or incorrect. I was just simply asking to see if anyone had any pictures, so that maybe I could see what they look like. I don't care if it's a mutt or a "breed". If i'm going to purchase a dog (no matter what kind) I will be happy with it no matter if it's a mutt or the best most expensive beed out there. I just wanted to see what they look like.

It makes no sense looking at a picture cause they ALL look different.

My comment about them not being a breed wasn't meant to be an insult, rather to point out that they are a mix of two breeds, and as such, will vary in both appearance and temperment. The resulting offspring of two dogs of different breeds can lead to a wide variety of results, and you will end up with some dogs that seem to be right in the middle (with some characteristics of each parent), some "leaning" towards one parent's likeness more than the other, and some that seem to be a throwback to a dog from an earlier generation (a grandparent, etc), or anything in between.

I have a maltese/cocker mix. She looks more like a maltese in most ways with the exception of a "rounder cocker" shaped head. Her coat is not so silky as a maltese. She does not shed, is extremely intelligent and energetic but a bit snippy, especially at night.(for what it's worth) I also rarely see this combination of mix.
