I've just got a new 13 mth old boston terrier who I've just had neutered 1 week ago, He is still hasselling my 17mth old desexed female BT trying to mount her. Also he is still spraying. Will this behaviour settle down and if so how long is it likely to take?. IP: Logged |

It is still early for him to have released all his lil ole spirited hormones, and the levels should go down within another week or two. Maybe; If the vet got all the "equipment",and hormones adjust, but it COULD be the little guy's character. Just gotta wait and see. I would keep him away from a female for the time being. Firm discipline too. If he doesn't calm those raging hormones soon, I would consult with the vet. Good luck. IP: Logged |
