Also there is no such thing as a pure maltese x toy poodle, these are not a registered breed they are x breeds, if you go to a so called breeder (BYB), you can expect to pay the price of a pedigree, registered dog,

The papers and pet stores are really the only places you are going to find this cross. More likely the pet stores. I rarely see the poodle mixes in my local paper in vegas...maybe one litter here and there but not the full variety of mixes.

actually www.petfinder.com has numerous poodle mixes that need a good home and you may even find them in local shelters and some rescue organizations.

I would absolutely avoid buying from a petstore (do a web search for petstore puppys for more info) and do not recommend buying a dogs from newspaper ads.
