I disagree with the person who said peke-a-poos are just mutts. To me, a mutt is an animal who cannot have its origin traced because it has been bred from too many different types of dogs. Peke-a-poos can easily be traced. They have a very distinguished background and come from two of the best kinds of dogs. Besides that, I have had my peke-a-poo for 6 years. I love him to bits. When we bought Ditto (that is his name), he came with a registry from a south texas kennel. He was not just some dog that was given to us. He has not had health problems until lately. He has backaches but the vet said that it was normal for dogs that were approaching their mid-age years. I hope that more people become educated about animals before they start rattling off their mouths.

Are you refering to an old message?? Just wondering I saw an old one not too long ago and I disagreed too. I breed Pek-a-Poos and love them. All of mine are CKC registered. I think anyone who has questions or feels the same as the person on the forum you are talking about and the one I am talking about should check out CKC(Continental Kennel Clubs) website at www.ckcusa.com Pek-a-Poos are know to be healthier, stronger and less susceptible to diseases. They have been breed for 25 years.

Thanks for starting this forum. I feel that it is important to educated people about Pek-a-Poos.
