Most people wean their pups at 6 weeks. Most of the time the mother will wean them herself. When I get a puppy for myself I take them at 5 weeks and bottle feed them for 3 more weeks. When you do that it creates a very strong bond between you and you puppy. If you already have the puppies sold ask the new owners what they would like to do.If you do not have the pups sold I would let them stay on their mom until they are atleast 6 weeks or the mother trys to wean them first. I don't know I thing and never heard of these dogs, so I thank you for mentioning your breed as I looked it up! LOL!! I bet a lot of people make mistakes and think they are either Pitbulls or boxers.....I know I would! They are beautiful! It seems like they are a cross between a boxer's characteristics and a Pitbull's...yes? I've got a website to show I found so others like me who never heard of them can see their beauty and loveable nature! Thanks again! http://www.canecorso.org/Pcontest.htm IP: Logged |

Thanks for the replys, and about the cane corsos well yes they are a rare breed and they come from Italy out of the Italian mastiff line and the Cane Corso is also a molosser breed. very intelligent and and a stable temerment and great guard dogs but are not at all mean just very aloof of strangers and protective to its family. And when raised right very good with all sorts of enviorments. thanks kesha, IP: Logged |
