Hi. I have a female that is due to be in heat anytime. I am wondering if she isnt already in heat though. I have noticed that her vulva is swelling and she has a whitish, sometimes clear stuff on her down there. I havent noticed any blood and I have been checking her daily. So, is it possible that she is getting ready to go into her 1st stage of the heat or is this the time when she is ready for the male? All help with be greatly appreciated!! IP: Logged |

Well it sounds to me like she is in the first stage of heat. Our female usually will not stand for a male until she is out of the blood cycle. So just be patient and wait until she has stopped bleeding. Good luck. IP: Logged |
