My cocker spaniel has flakey scabs all over his stomach and some on his back. They seem painful. Are they hotspots or just dry skin. Hoping someone knows Jessie

Jessie,it seemsto me your dog needs a proper vet examination as it is almost impossible to diagnose such a nasty condition without seeing it.If you use any cream it could makematters worse. Hope you can fix this, the poor thing must be so uncomfortable.
