Can anyone tell me how a peekapoo's hair should be cut. Our groomer has been using what they call the teddy bear cut and it is really short and cute. Just looking for other ideas.

He looks very much like a white pekanese. People tend to give their dogs the hair cut that of the breed that they look like most. My sister's poodle hates to have the clippers in his face so he has the teddy bear cut going on. I personally don't think that the typical poodle trimmed face would look right on your dog. Maybe you could do the mustache or donut face. As for the body. It really is your decision, but the puppy cut works well on the mixed breed. He kind of looks like a maltese or havanes. But those front legs are definatley a peke's.. My mini poodle is cut in the traditonal shaved face all around the neck front and back. I am trying to go with the lamb cut on the legs. Which is longer than the body hair. That might look cute on yours.
