Like most puppies, my dog had a tough time house training, he is almost completely housetrained now but I can seem to get the urine smell out of my carpet. I cleaned every spot as soon I saw it but I think there were some I didn't know about. Recently I cleaned my whole carpet and I thought that the problem was taken care of, but the smell has come back. Is there anything I can do? IP: Logged |

Check with a carpet cleaner. I remember hearing about something they could use to help with it. Although the problem is probably not the carpet but the matting under the carpet. The urine soaked down to the matting and that is hard to get to. IP: Logged |

I don't know if this product is available in your area, but "Oxyclean" really helped with my puppy stains and smells. My dog is almost two now and trained and never even sniffs his favorite 'hot spots' anymore. He stopped visiting these 'hot spots' after we cleaned our carpet with "Oxyclean". It will get better, puppies will be puppies ![]() IP: Logged |
