Bad news. An American Bulldog is put to dead in the Netherlands. A guy was walking with his American Bulldog when the police came to him and asked if he had any papers on him. Offcourse, his papers where at home. So the police wanted to come to his place to check it out the papers. They agreed to come to his parents place the next day. So the next day the guy goes to his parents and waits there for over an hour and the police do not show up. The guy leaves his parents home and after 10 minutes,the police do show up. But the dad of the guy has the American Bulldog with him. The police see the dog and in their opinion it's a pittbull. THEY JUST TAKE THE DOG OUT OF HIS HOME!! Pittbulls are no longer allowed in the Netherlands. This all happened this past week and yesterday evening, I read a message that the dog was put to dead!!! There was never an accident with this dog and she was always very friendly. American Bulldog didn't do anything wrong. Now I just read another message that all dogs that don't have an FCI-pedigree; are put under the pittbull-legislation. So from now on NO American Bulldog is save in the Netherlands. They can just come and get your dog and kill him! I am very worried for all the American Bulldogs there. A friend of mine ha 2 of their pups living overthere, 1 is 10 months,the other 10 weeks. All American Bulldog owners over there are very scared now and don't now what to do against this! I'll keep you informed on this one!
