Does anyone know what kind of grooming a shih-poo needs and how often they need to be groomed?

Shih-Tzus need daily grooming. Unsure about
shih-poo but i guess it is more or less the same. You need to get a special metal brash
for grooming. Available in any pet shop or your local supermarket.

I know of several friends who prefer to use a "greyhound" steel comb rather than a slicker brush..it saves the underlying puffy hair. And if you have tear stains, clean the eye gutters with a small soft toothbrush dipped in warm water. And apply a few drops of Opticlear Sterile eye saline into each eye and dab eyes afterward. Do this every day, then every few days to keep clean. In a plastic bowl mix a powdered solution of hafl being boric acid and the other half being cornstarch. Dab this in the eye gutter, and be careful not to get into eye! Can cause eye ulcer. This powder mix will keep eye gutters clean and stain free. Persians breeders and show dog owners use this mix, inexpensive and it works. Good luck.
