Those of you having problems...the best thing you can do is seek out a *qualified* dog trainer. And I don't mean one of those pet-smart dog trainers either. You need some one who has titled multiple dogs, some one who KNOWs dog behavior, and it would be a plus if they had a behaviorist back ground...

My family recently lost our peekapoo to a car accident. We are all heartbroken. Our five year old peekapoo was a member of our family and we miss him terribly. When Pepper was a puppy, he was very hard to potty train and liked to chew but when he turned a year old he was much calmer. Pepper was smart and very playful, he was the perfect dog for our 6 year old daughter. We are now looking for another peekapoo.

We sure have been blessed to get a very loving and mild mannered 6 month old Peek.

She is so gently, chews only her toys, hardly ever barks, unless she senses something or someone is here...even then she is so gentle.

She's a LAP DOG for sure.....loves to be loved. Makes getting up in the morning a JOY and she is having her little surgery this morning, so I'm keeping busy, so as not to WORRY OVER MY BABY.

I'll go see her this afternoon but she will stay til Sunday with the Vet.

I do not know what the Lady did before us, but she DID DO something right, for this little Dog is a BLESSING BIG TIME.

The best to all of you having troubles. A firm NO...letting them know they are NOT the KING of the HILL is a GOOD THING I have found. Loving them freely, but having BOUNDARIES and letting them know that the BOSS IS YOU is key to me.
