Hi, this is my first post here. I have a choc. lab that is about 7 years old. Lately when he wakes up in the morning he is slow to move and obey. As the day gets going then he moves around just fine. He also has started with a soft whinning through out the night and we can't comfort him in anyway. Can anyone help ? IP: Logged |

Does he hurt when you touch him anywhere? Have any trouble going to the bathroom? A vet check would definately be the best start. If he's in pain, he's trying to tell you...don't delay! Hope everything works out OK. IP: Logged |

Is he alone? Is he overweight? Underweight? Getting enough exercise and going outdoors? Slow to move, indicates a medical visit to a vet is necessary I would say. Possible arthritis/pain somewhere, esp if overweight. Something is going on, starting with a vet can't hurt. Good luck. IP: Logged |
