Hi I have been searching for a Doberman I have always loved Dobies.. It doesn't matter what sex.. I prefer one already cropped and docked perhaps 6 mos. or older. I love the black and rust as well as the Reds. Thank you...

I have a Warlock Dobe, a super-sized baby, fawn. I found him via my state's Agriculture Review newsletter put out by the Dept of Agri of your state. She bred for quality, temperament and health, and I paid only $200. I hope you find one, they are a blast, love to play and are huge love-muffins too. They have a bad rep which is really too bad, cause I have known many that will lick a person's face off rather than anything else!

Forgot.....try www.petfinder.org for your area, with type of pet you want and the entire list comes up, even for the Doberman Rescue. Good luck!

Kelley,
You can contact your state's Dept of Agriculture and see if they publish one, I bet they do, or check online by doing a search via metacrawler or yahoo.
Also, you can get a list of breeders online as well or a rescue dog, for about $200 donation, and the dog has been thoroughly checked out. I love these guys, easy to bathe, protective with a quiet presence to them until danger/threat. Easy keepers really when adults. Mine only eats about 6 cups of food, weighs about 100# now. Loves to play. I sure hope I have helped and do let me know how you do, ok? I am wanting to buy a red now, gorgeous. Oh, and for summer I mix 1/2 of Repel horse repekkent found in Walmart with water in a spray bottle and apply some all over. Works great. Good luck!

Oh you're so welcome. I hope all goes well for you too! I want to probably get another from the same breeder as she breeds for temperament, and health and beauty. I already have a deposit down, but my daggone engine needed all new gaskets! So a puppy was put on hold for now! Now I will see seeing I am caught up...but...are we ever?? LOL!!
