Can anyone help, we give our little 3lb-10 oz a bath & blow dry, she still looks like she hasen't been bathed for weeks, and within a few days she really looks bad. The dog is just two years old and has been this way since birth, looks like not thin hair amd rattey looking. we have 3 more poodles and they are OK. We use the same shampoo on all 4. She also has that brown stain from the eyes, but we are more concerned about that ratty coat. Any ideas Thanks Tom IP: Logged |

All I know is stay away from tarhills poodles of Mars hill N. C. They ripped me off on one of the worse dogs you coudl ever imagine owning. Beware of this breeder. As far as your dogs coat goes. It is genetic. All you can do is use a drying shampoo such a tar and sulphur. Might help? But it will always be like that.I have groomed for years. Just try and keep it clean and dry. IP: Logged |

possible a vitamin adative could help maybe viamine e or protine supliment for the coat. a lot of dog cattaloges carry such products. his body may not process the feed as well as your other poodles due to a genetic fluck. IP: Logged |
