I want to thank you for the message you posted under the topic of "Pet Food". You have the support of the moderators behind you. Many of us are in agreement with most of what you've stated there.

I do not want to see you leave because of the behavior of another member. Please note that the moderators will be keeping an eye out and assessing any future comments and removing/editing as necessary.

How unmoderatorlike =D

I said I wouldnt get into it again with her...she chose to call me out. I explained in more detail about the pet food rotation thing ..something she already talked about in her very own post. http://www.infopet.co.uk/pages/0131.html That page explains why people rotate commercial brands exactly how I explained it. Sugar coat it all you want, rotating food is covering for the fact that one or more brand of the food in the rotation is likely lacking something that a dog needs.

Forget anything I've said and move on with your lives if you are actually capable of doing so(which from the tone of your posts is clear you are not)

I came to this board to find occasional advice and when the siding takes place and it is clear that people would side with an animal abusive person who does so simply as a matter of pride and also people that actually protect someone more worried about a few bucks than their puppies health, it is clear I came to the wrong place and am seeking the wrong peoples advice. Sure there might be some good advice out there that might be useful from time to time but it is crystal clear to me now that the information on this board is not trustworthy about any instance. I understand than most of you do that everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true...and since the same is very much apparent here, i find no need to remain here when I can simply sift through the same mix of good and bad information elsewhere. Maybe someday I will find a place to talk to people that all have their dogs best interests at heart. Until then I wil have to avoid sticking my nose into places where that isnt the case. The girl from orange county had it right for the most part in her most recent post.

In parting because I dont take her advice and enjoy my last words, feeding science diet is considered animal abuse in my book. I threw someone out of my bar and will not serve him anymore simply because that is what he feeds his dog. That is how strongly I feel about the issue. And to the idiot who didnt take her vomiting dog to the vet for DAYS...had i known where you live animal control would be sitting on your doorstep about now.

Your anger and bitterness sound almost out of control, so I think you are doing the right thing by yourself for signing off.

I truly feel for some of the people who've posted here who have been accused of animal abuse by you. The woman who had a vomitting puppy never said it had been vomitting for 3 days. She said she had the puppy for 3 days. She even pointed this out to you but you chose to ignore the correction and have continued to spew venom here.

You're throwing people out of a bar for feeding a particular brand of dog food? I truly feel bad for you as it must be so difficult to live with that kind of anger. I don't make these statements with a single bit of malice or sarcasm. I wish you the best and sincerely hope that someday you'll join the board again in the spirit of healthy debate, common sense, diplomacy, and good will that most others seem to manage, even in the face of opposing opinions.

Bye for now and best wishes.

On the contrary, MistressKella, stepping in when enough is enough IS moderator like. There is no excuse for this behavior. Abusive? It is a far fetched idea to call someone you do not even know abusive. It's unanimous the only thing abusive around here are your words. I, like the others wish you the best.

To our members - I use the Thread below written by MyBabyShihPoo as an example because it clearly is the result of a carefully worded post from someone who had a problem yet chose to use tact instead of being rude and disrespectful right back.
It sufficiently says it ALL:

quote:
MistressKela~
I can no longer bite my tongue in an effort to hold back from saying what I have wanted to say for some time now:
Through my reading of your posts on this particular board and the "All Dog Types" board, it has become quite clear to me that you enjoy instigating arguments/fights and you obviously thrive on that. I find such a behavior to be grossly immature, but obviously it is your prerogative and I can't imagine you caring much about it. I don't believe I am alone in how I feel about many of your posting for I have read the reactions of many concerning your rude and baseless comments.

Judge my decisions as you please, but do be aware that I am not the least bit interested in whether you approve of my decisions or not, for I am not seeking your satisfaction. You are SURELY not a professional by any means in the area of dog nutrition, therefore you have no ground in acting as if you are all knowing in this area. (That would be precisely why I claim not to be an expert)

It is my sincere hope that you realize how many people you turn off through your utterly contemptuous comments. You are highly combative in almost all you say which exhibits the undeniable fact that you lack in proper, polite, and respectful communication skills. If you don't agree with what someone says there is absolutely no reason to verbally attack that person, simply state what you believe, agree to disagree if needed, and move on...it's very simple. I encourage you to give that a try sometime...you just might like it!

Please do understand that I am not offended by the fact that you disagree with me, that truly is not the case since I respect the fact that not everyone agrees with my personal opinion(s). What I am offended by is your outright disrespect, incivility, and ignorance.

Thank you, and with all due respect, I wish you the best!

Thank you

Misstress,
its obvious you feel strongly about your dogs nutrition, however just because the other members on this board do not feel the same way doesnt make them bad pet owners.
Your opinion is all yours. YOU are entitled to YOUR opinion- EVERYBODY else is not, it's up to us weather or not we choose to take advice from you, but if you're going to be rude about it then mabye you should strongly consider taking a break from the board, or finding a new messesge board.
