My Pekepoo has become aggressive with the kids. She just turned one year old. If she is lying at my feet and the try to pick her up, or if they try to take something from her. TOnight she bit my 7 year old son. I was with them, and she had something in her mouth that she wasn't suppose to have and she snapped and bit.

She is very attached to me, although I try to prevent it. Also, where she use to love everybody that visits, or use to love going anywhere..now she is nervous and apprehensive when we go places. Won't wag her tale, not happy to see anyone.

I just changed her food over to Inova three weeks ago. Could that be the problem?
We can't have an aggressive dog like this and I don't know what to do. Help

I don't think the food would cause this type of behavior. It almost sounds like she could be stressed or maybe just not feeling well....not feeling well will often cause dogs to act "crabby". I would have her evaluated by a vet first to rule out any health problems that could be causing her to behave this way. Once health problems are ruled out I recommend getting involved with a trainer/behaviorist who can help you work with your dog to change this unacceptable behavior. Best of luck.
