I have a 5 1/2 months old poodle. I think I made some big mistakes housebreaking her, and I need advice.
This is my day please give me advice.
Number one I think her crate size is too big, she will sometimes pee in there during the day. I know she is very little and she is in there for 7 hours out of the day but she does not poop in there. Should I divide her crate and make it smaller the reason why I didn't do that is because I did not want her to lay in it if she had to go to the bathroom. Okay I come home from work and I take her out of the crate and she will go to the door during the course of the evening if you have total eyes on her. A big fault of mine is that I let her sleep in my bed and I put papers down in my bedroom. She was making on the papers for awhile but now she will make on my rug. I made alot of mistakes trying to train her, she should be trained already yes or no. I didn't make her sleep in the crate because I thought it would be unfair to leave her confined 15 hours a day.

Make it smaller. Just so she can turn around and lie down. She might get herself dirty once or twice but shes a poodle...you're going to have to get used to bathing her often anyways =D
