how many times should my 8 week shih-poo eat i feed him three times a day know woul some one teel me an answer thank you lisa

I was told by my vet to feed my pups (at that age) 3 to 4 times daily. But, every vet has their opinion on this! I would consult your vet about it and see what he says!

For puppies under 6 months of age...I think 3x per day is best. After 6 months you can cut down to 2 meals per day if you prefer.
Just my 2cents.

I let mine eat anytime ,very small dogs have a tendency to eat a bite ,go play ,come back for another bite or mine do .Maybe cause it is there for them .Missing a meal can cause problems .At least 3 times a day .

I have always left a bowl of food down for my dogs. My vet said as long as they are not overweight I could do this. Baylee eats and runs throughout the day. Sydney eat just a couple of times a day. I usually put down some can food mixed with dry once a day for them. Hope this helps.
