We are getting our first peek a poo this Thursday. I am so excited. The breeder has emailed me his pic and he looks like a little black and white dust mop. He is 9 wks old. I have never had a dog of this breed before but by going over all of your posts--I think we have picked a good one. I am lucky to have found your website and have been online for the last 2 hours reading all of the old posts that I can find about peek-a-poos. I especially loved the pics since the only one I have ever seen is the one that we are getting. It is a male and I can't wait to name him. I am sure that the kids will have their opinions of what it needs to be. (I think he looks like a domino) but that probably won't fly well with the boys.
I am also curious as to do any of you peek a poo owners have problems with them having skin problems or allergies??
I am new at this message board stuff but maybe I can get his pic up here after we bring him home Thursday evening. Thanks again for the site---it has helped me greatly!

Angie

worleys5~

Hi there! Welcome to the board, and a semi-early congrats!!!

Wish I could help you with your question, but I am not a peek-a-poo owner; maybe someone else on the board will be able to answer. I do have two shih-poos though, and fortunately no allergies or skin problems!

Wishing you the best of luck with your new pup,
Kristi

*By the way, sharing pictures is a MUST around here! LOL

Hello there Worly... and welcome also!! I'm with MyBabyShihPoo (only have the shihtzu-poodle mix) but I'm sure you will have a ball with your new baby. My baby is black and white also, and when we first got him my nephews wanted to name him "OREO" (so there's a thought).... but we went with Bailey instead (which has nothing to do with coloring, so who knows) LOL... anyhow, be sure to share! we love this site!!
