hey all.. i haven't posted on this forum in a long time.. but i really need some help from you all..
my family dog, a lhasa apso who will be 14 in july, had her bi-annual check-up the other day.. the doctor found proteins in her urine, which is a indicator of early stage kidney disease.. her blood levels were fine.. however, he wants to put her on prescription hills k/d food.. i checked it out and am not too happy with the ingredients.. i am trying to find a food that is equal in nutrient value to put her on.. she currently eats nutro natural choice senior.. my mother is willing to spend more for a higher quality food..
this is some of the info on the hills k/d
